VICTORIA, Seychelles – On February 14, 2025, Bitget, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, announced it has secured a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency. This license enables Bitget to offer comprehensive crypto services in Bulgaria, including exchange, trading, transfer, custody, and public offering of crypto assets, along with wallet services. This move aligns with Bitget's plans to obtain the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license, strengthening its presence in the region. Bitget views regulatory compliance as key to its success, having already secured approvals in Poland, Italy, Lithuania and the UK.
