LVMH Appoints Michael Burke to Lead Americas Operations Amidst Sales Decline

Edited by: Olga Sukhina

LVMH has appointed Michael Burke to head its Americas operations. Burke will oversee both North and South America, reporting to LVMH Group Managing Director Stéphane Bianchi.

Burke will also serve as the non-executive chairman of Tiffany & Co. This appointment comes as LVMH faces challenges, including a 3% sales decline in the U.S. during the first quarter of 2025.

The luxury industry is experiencing economic pressures and shifting consumer behaviors. Burke's experience is expected to help LVMH navigate these challenges and drive growth in the Americas.
