Washington D.C. - U.S. House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Rep. Scott Fitzgerald (R-WI) have voiced concerns over the EU's Digital Markets Act (DMA), suggesting it unfairly targets U.S. tech companies. In a letter to EU antitrust chief Teresa Ribera, the congressmen criticized the DMA's regulations and potential fines, arguing they could give European companies an advantage. They requested a briefing on the matter by March 10. This follows President Trump's memorandum to defend U.S. companies from "overseas extortion." Tech CEOs, including Meta's Mark Zuckerberg, have also criticized EU antitrust regulations.
