A rare recording of a 20-year-old Bob Dylan performing at the Gaslight Cafe in Greenwich Village in 1961 is up for auction. The reel-to-reel tape, captured by Dylan's then-manager Terri Thal, features six songs from an early performance, including "Talkin' Bear Mountain Picnic Massacre Blues" and "Song to Woody." The recording, considered Dylan's earliest demo, was used to try to book gigs for the then little-known artist. The tape also includes an early version of "Mr. Tambourine Man." RR Auction estimates the tape could fetch at least $25,000. The auction also includes other Dylan memorabilia, such as a sequined suit from his 1975 Rolling Thunder tour and a guitar he gave to musician Bob Neuwirth.
