The German airline Eurowings decided that a simple "thank you" is no longer enough for good people.
And it launched a contest, Name a Plane: residents of Europe can nominate a person who makes their life better — someone who helps, supports, cares for others, or simply regularly performs those very small good deeds that usually go unnoticed.
And then the most interesting part begins.
There will be fourwinners, and their names will appear on four planes Airbus A320.
So it is quite possible that one day you will look at an airport departures board and see:
"Marina is arriving at 18:40."
And it won't be a friend who is running late again.
It will be an Airbus.
To nominate someone, you need to briefly explain why it is precisely they who make your life better. Entries are accepted until 11 October, and the chosen names will be announced in December.
So if flowers, a cake or a dinner used to be the highest form of gratitude, now the bar has been raised a little.
"Thank you for everything. By the way, on Thursday you're flying to Barcelona. On you.". 😄
