Edited by: Olga N

Indonesia is advancing its national education through the digitalization of learning. The government is implementing interactive smart boards in schools as part of the 'Fastest Best Results Program' (PHTC), initiated by President Prabowo Subianto. This initiative aims to modernize education and improve learning outcomes. Atip Latipulhayat, Deputy Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, highlighted that this program is one of four key priorities in education. These priorities include school rehabilitation, teacher qualification upgrades, and addressing the issues of honorary teachers. The initial phase targets approximately 18,000 schools nationwide, with SDIT Persis in Bandung among the first recipients. The smart boards connect to a central server in Jakarta, providing learning materials for elementary to high school levels. Muhammad Isra Ramli, Deputy I for Communication and Information, emphasized the relevance of this digital approach for the new generation. With a substantial education budget of over Rp 500 trillion, the government aims to enhance educational quality through technology and infrastructure improvements.
