New data reveals that Gen Z frontline workers require personalized, mobile-first training to succeed. An Axonify report shows that 77% of Gen Z workers face situations where insufficient training hinders their job performance. This leads to feelings of overwhelm (62%), anxiety (55%), and even thoughts of quitting (14%). The report surveyed 500 U.S. Gen Z frontline workers, highlighting gaps in current training methods. Many receive training only during onboarding (one in three), while 37% lack sufficient on-the-job learning time. The training is often perceived as disengaging or irrelevant (34%). Gen Z desires personalized training tailored to their roles and career goals (50%). They prefer short video modules (35%) and mobile learning options (35%). Personalized training boosts confidence (90%), productivity (82%), and job satisfaction (81%). Axonify's CRO, Dave Carter, emphasizes the need for employers to adapt training strategies to support Gen Z, fostering a resilient and effective workforce.
