Saudi Investment Minister Leads Delegation to Pakistan for Bilateral Trade Talks

ISLAMABAD - A high-level Saudi Arabian delegation, led by Minister for Investment Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Faleh, has arrived in Pakistan on a three-day official visit. The delegation aims to enhance bilateral trade and investment, with expectations to sign agreements worth $2 billion across various sectors.

Upon arrival, the Saudi minister was welcomed by Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Privatization & Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, along with other senior officials. The visit includes business-to-business meetings with Pakistani companies, focusing on sectors such as construction, engineering, financial services, IT, hospitality, agriculture, food, energy, and petroleum.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the significance of this visit, stating it would strengthen the ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The Saudi minister is also scheduled to meet with the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan and address a business forum in Islamabad. This visit is viewed as a crucial step in fostering mutual business activities and enhancing investment opportunities between the two nations.
