BYD is set to launch a series of new models aimed at the luxury market, including SUVs, sedans, and a new sub-brand called Denza.
The first new model expected is an electric coupe SUV measuring 4.83 meters long, with a starting price above R$ 300,000. It offers power configurations of 231 hp, 312 hp, and 530 hp, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, with a battery range of 550 km to 610 km.
Another model, the Seal 07 DM-i, features a hybrid system with a 1.5L gasoline engine and a 252 hp electric motor, offering an electric range of 120 km and a hybrid range of up to 2,100 km.
The Bao 5, a plug-in hybrid SUV, boasts 680 hp and can accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, with a hybrid range of 1,200 km.
BYD's premium sub-brand Denza will introduce the Z9 GT, a super sedan offering up to 952 hp in its electric version and 858 hp in its plug-in hybrid variant.
Upcoming visual updates for existing models include the Dolphin Mini and the Seal, with improved charging capabilities up to 150 kW.
