Porsche's electric Macan has officially debuted with impressive range figures. The EPA rates the Macan Electric at 496 km, while the Turbo version is rated at 463 km on a full charge.
Although these figures are lower than the optimistic European WLTP ratings of 613 km, real-world range could be 10-15% higher than EPA estimates, placing it in the 300+ mile category.
The first Macan EVs are set to arrive in US dealerships on September 30th, with units already en route. The base model boasts an efficiency rating of 98 MPGe, outperforming all Taycan models despite being larger.
While it may not be the most affordable EV, the Macan Electric offers a compelling mix of range, performance, and rapid charging capabilities, appealing to luxury electric crossover buyers.
