MotoGP Indonesia and Japan GP Set for October 2024

As the MotoGP season progresses, significant events are on the horizon, particularly the upcoming MotoGP Indonesia and the Gran Premio del Giappone. The MotoGP Indonesia, scheduled for 2024, marks the third year of a contract that extends until 2031, with the event being a crucial part of Indonesia's strategy to enhance sports tourism in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone.

Troy Reza Warokka, the Commercial Director of PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (ITDC), emphasized that the MotoGP event not only aims to boost tourist visits but also to attract investors to the region. The initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, particularly in tourism, transportation, and creative industries.

Meanwhile, the Gran Premio del Giappone will take place from October 4 to 6, 2024, at the Motegi circuit, which is renowned for its multi-functional design. This event constitutes the sixteenth of twenty in the 2024 MotoGP calendar and is critical for determining the championship title as the season enters its final quarter.

With the potential for adverse weather due to the typhoon season in Japan, spectators are encouraged to follow the races through various streaming platforms, ensuring they do not miss the action as the championship race heats up.
