The monsoon season has officially ended in Bihar, India, as of October 14, 2024. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) reports clear weather across the state, with no expected rainfall in any district. Daytime temperatures will range from 32 to 34 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will feel slightly cooler, between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius.
According to forecasts, there is a slight chance of light rain in some southeastern districts on October 18 or 19, which may contribute to a drop in temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees after October 20.
Currently, the highest temperature recorded is 35.5 degrees Celsius in Begusarai, while Patna experienced a maximum of 33.7 degrees Celsius, a rise of 2.3 degrees from the previous day. The average temperature across the state remains between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius.
On the previous day, light rainfall was observed in two districts of the southeastern region, with Khagaria receiving 9.9 millimeters and Banka recording 1 millimeter. Additionally, there were some isolated showers in Rohtas.
Weather patterns indicate that a cyclonic circulation is forming over the southeastern Bay of Bengal and adjacent areas, creating conditions for sporadic light rain in the southeastern districts in the coming days.
