XIAMEN, China, December 13, 2024 – Ampace has officially launched the JP30 cylindrical lithium battery, which promises to redefine high-power battery technology with its compact design and enhanced performance.
Dr. Yuan Qingfeng, Chief Technology Officer of Ampace, emphasized the significance of this innovation, stating that the JP30 challenges previous assumptions about the limitations of 18650 batteries. The new battery features a sleek design while delivering exceptional ultra-high power rate performance.
The JP30 demonstrates notable advancements across several key performance indicators, including power output and charging speed. It supports a continuous discharge of 36A and a pulse discharge of 140A within 5 seconds, making it suitable for demanding applications such as steel cutting and concrete drilling. Additionally, the battery's capacity has increased from 2.5Ah to 3.0Ah, and it can achieve over 600 cycles at 30A discharge, significantly outlasting traditional batteries.
Charging time has also improved, with the JP30 reaching 80% charge in just 10 minutes, a 60% reduction compared to conventional options. This efficiency means that fewer batteries are needed for outdoor work, enhancing operational convenience.
