In response to catastrophic floods affecting Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian Caritas has initiated a fundraising campaign to assist the flood-stricken residents. The organization has called upon Croatian citizens, companies, and associations to contribute to the relief efforts to ensure that aid reaches those in need as quickly as possible.
Tomislav Glavnik, the director of Croatian Caritas, expressed condolences and solidarity in a message to Monsignor Toma Knežević, the director of Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina. Glavnik emphasized the organization’s readiness to respond with both material and financial support, stating, 'We will strive to mobilize all our resources to mitigate the consequences of the disaster that has affected people and their homes.'
Additionally, Croatian travel blogger Kristijan Iličić urged his followers and all good-hearted individuals in Croatia to support the affected population by calling a humanitarian number. He conveyed the emotional toll of witnessing the tragedy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting the importance of solidarity during such difficult times.
