Apple to Roll Out AI Features in iOS 18.1 Update, Excluding EU and China

Apple has announced that it will introduce Apple Intelligence, a suite of AI features, in its upcoming iOS 18.1 update. This update is expected to roll out soon after the stable release of iOS 18, which occurred last month alongside the launch of the iPhone 16 Series. Notably, Apple Intelligence will initially be available only on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 Series.

To access Apple Intelligence, users will need to join a waitlist following the installation of the update, with a potential waiting period due to high demand. Additionally, devices must have at least 4GB of free storage to accommodate the AI features, which will initially support only US English.

Importantly, the AI features will not be available in the European Union or China at launch. Apple is working with local regulators to facilitate access in these regions, but no significant developments are anticipated in the near future.

This update signifies Apple's growing focus on AI technology, potentially influencing global tech trends and user expectations.
