Neousys Technology has unveiled the Nuvo-2822, a compact Box PC powered by Intel® Alder Lake N processor. This device features four PCIe/PCI slots, enabling integration with industrial expansion cards, including AI-based video capture boards.
Equipped with the Intel N97 processor, which boasts a 4-core/4-thread architecture and a TDP of 12W, the Nuvo-2822 delivers high performance for demanding automation systems, while its small form factor is ideal for space-constrained environments.
A standout feature is the front-panel I/O port layout, simplifying peripheral connections. It includes two Ethernet ports with I210-IT controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports with screw-lock for secure connections to industrial cameras, an 8-channel isolated DIO port, and four COM ports, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of industrial sensors and devices.
Additionally, the Nuvo-2822 offers flexible expansion options with two PCIe and two PCI slots, accommodating video capture and motion control boards for diverse industrial applications. It is compatible with the Neousys frame grabber based on NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, allowing x86 architectures to be upgraded to AI-supported edge computing platforms.
Energy efficiency is enhanced with the Super Power Saving Mode, which reduces power consumption during idle and shutdown states. The device operates within a wide temperature range of -10 to +70 °C and meets MIL-STD-810H standards for vibration and shock resistance, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions.
