Microsoft has launched a new update for Edge version 132.0.2957.26, currently available in the Beta Channel. This update features two significant changes: the deprecation of the support page and the introduction of an AI-powered theme generator.
The edge://support page will no longer be available, with its content now integrated into other pages like edge://version and edge://extensions. The AI theme generator allows users to create custom browser themes by inputting text prompts, generating images that can be set as the new tab page background. The browser will also extract the dominant color from the generated image for use across the user interface.
Importantly, users do not need to be on the Beta version to access the theme generator. The feature can be accessed through the Appearance section in both the Beta and stable releases of Edge. This rollout aims to enhance user engagement with the AI capabilities of the browser.
