Reeve Hockey Classic: USA and Canada Face Off in First-Ever Sled Hockey Match for Paralysis Research

The NHL, USA Hockey, and Hockey Canada have announced the inaugural Reeve Hockey Classic, a sled hockey game featuring the world's top men's para hockey athletes representing Team USA and Team Canada. This historic match will take place at the Kasabuski Rink in Boston, supporting the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

Both teams boast impressive medal counts on the international stage. Team USA's roster boasts 28 Paralympic gold medals and 46 World Championship gold medals, while Team Canada has 17 silver and 3 bronze Paralympic medals, along with 28 gold, 34 silver, and 4 bronze World Championship medals. The game will serve as part of both teams' training camps as they prepare for upcoming international competitions.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, dedicated to curing spinal cord injury and improving the lives of those affected by paralysis, is a partner of the NHL Foundation U.S. The Reeve Hockey Classic will support funding for paralysis cures. The event will also feature a 'Try Sled Hockey for Free' event on February 18th, offering children ages 4-17 the opportunity to experience sled hockey.
