Post Malone and Morgan Wallen Shine at CMA Awards

Post Malone and Morgan Wallen's collaboration, "I Had Some Help," is poised to be a significant highlight at the upcoming Country Music Association Awards. This track has garnered four nominations, including single of the year, song of the year, musical event of the year, and music video of the year, marking Malone's debut as a CMA nominee.

Wallen leads the nominations with a total of seven, competing for the prestigious entertainer of the year award against notable artists such as Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson, who also has four nominations. The event, which will air at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC, promises to feature a variety of collaborations, showcasing the evolving landscape of country music.

The show will be co-hosted by Wilson, Luke Bryan, and Peyton Manning, and is set to commence with a performance by Malone and Stapleton. Throughout the evening, audiences can expect additional performances from various artist pairings, including Shaboozey with Combs and Eric Church, and Kelsea Ballerini with Noah Kahan.

This year's CMA Awards will also honor George Strait with a multi-artist tribute as he receives the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. The nominations are determined by members of the Country Music Association, encompassing a wide array of industry professionals.

Despite speculation regarding Beyoncé's potential nomination for her song "Cowboy Carter," she did not receive a nod. Earlier this year, she made history by becoming the first Black woman to top the Billboard country albums chart since its inception in 1964, further highlighting the significance of diversity in the country music genre.
