Royal Expert Claims Meghan Markle Flirted with Prince William, Causing Tension Between Brothers

A royal expert has shed light on the alleged tension between Prince William and Prince Harry, suggesting that Meghan Markle's affectionate nature may have contributed to the rift.

Previous reports claimed that Meghan's habit of hugging and kissing people on the cheek, including William, led to gossip among staff about her flirting with him. However, royal biographer Ingrid Seward has offered a different perspective.

Seward believes that Meghan's touchy-feely approach stems from her upbringing in Los Angeles and her background as an actress. She suggests that Meghan's actions were not intended to be flirtatious but rather a way of connecting with people.

"I think that Meghan's whole attitude is different from the royal family's because she was brought up in Los Angeles," Seward told The Sun. "She's an actress and [in that industry] it's very touchy-feely but the royal family were brought up to be very formal."

Seward further suggests that William, accustomed to a more reserved approach, felt uncomfortable with Meghan's affectionate gestures. "I think very definitely she flirted with William, but I think it was really her way of connecting to men," she said. "Prince William would just be rather embarrassed because it would be a bit alien to him to be so huggy with someone that he did not want to be huggy with."

Seward drew a comparison between Meghan and Princess Diana, who was also known for her affectionate nature. "She [Diana] was very huggy and that's the environment in which William has been brought up. Yes, huggy, with people you want to be huggy with, but it's got to be on your own terms."
