U.S. Congressman Claims Alien Bases in Oceans Amid Rising UFO Reports

During a recent interview, Republican Congressman Tim Burchett asserted that there may be alien bases in the ocean, based on information from an anonymous military source. Burchett, representing Tennessee, has long claimed that the U.S. government is concealing the existence of UFOs.

He expressed confidence that extraterrestrial intentions are not hostile, stating, "[specific quote not provided]." This revelation comes amidst a surge of UFO sightings across the U.S., particularly noted in New Jersey, with hundreds of reports of unidentified drones.

In 2023, General Glen VanHerck of the U.S. Northern Aerospace Forces hinted at a potential alien origin for some of the sightings. Congressional hearings on UFOs have become more frequent, reflecting a serious approach to the topic.

An ex-Air Force intelligence official previously testified that the federal government had recovered non-human aircraft over the decades, a claim dismissed by the Pentagon. However, the Department of Defense has encouraged UAP reporting, receiving hundreds of reports, most of which have been deemed "harmless." The increasing acceptance of these claims among the public marks a significant shift in perception.
