Among the discoveries is a vibrant new species of clownfish, which exhibits unique coloration patterns not seen in any known relatives.
Additionally, researchers found a previously unrecognized species of sea cucumber that plays a crucial role in the ecosystem by aiding in nutrient recycling on the ocean floor. The findings were published in the journal Marine Biodiversity on January 2, 2024.
