Lady Gaga has announced her seventh studio album, titled 'MAYHEM', set for release on March 7, 2025. This album explores themes of chaos and transformation, celebrating the power of music to provoke, unite, and heal.
The project features 14 tracks, including the previously released singles 'Disease' and 'Die With a Smile'. The latter, a collaboration with Bruno Mars, has become a global sensation, currently holding the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks. It also topped the Billboard Global 200 and the Spotify Top 50 Global, setting a record as the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.
With over 2.7 billion streams to date, 'Die With a Smile' has earned two Grammy nominations for 2025, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Billboard describes it as a “match made in Grammy heaven,” while The New York Times calls it a “romantic, slightly apocalyptic slow dance.”
On February 2, Gaga will debut her third single and accompanying music video from 'MAYHEM' during the Grammy Awards commercial break.
Before the ceremony, she will join artists like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, and Joni Mitchell for a FireAid benefit concert on January 30, aiding communities devastated by recent fires in Los Angeles. On March 17, Gaga will receive the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, followed by headlining performances at Coachella on April 11 and 18.
