Join the Fun: Community Events for Pets and Families This Fall!

As the fall season unfolds, communities are coming together to celebrate with exciting events that cater to families and their furry friends!

One highlight is the Fall Festival at Henderson Independent High School in Salisbury. Scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., this festival will feature a screening of the award-winning student film, "The Horror of Trauma," along with various fun activities for all ages. From face painting to cookie decorating, children can enjoy games and even earn prizes from the pumpkin patch!

Food will also be on offer, including hot dogs and cotton candy, making it a perfect outing for families. The event is free and open to everyone, so bring your pets along to join in the festivities!

In addition, the Langho Community Bonfire and Fireworks Display on November 2 promises to be a spectacular evening. While pets are not allowed at this event, families can enjoy a night filled with food, drinks, and a thrilling fireworks display. The event supports the local Scout Group, ensuring that funds raised benefit the community.

Finally, for those who love pumpkins, the Plough Pub in Great Harwood is hosting pumpkin picking and fireworks displays throughout October and November. With over 1,000 pumpkins available for picking, it’s a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween! The pub will also feature a pyro-musical fireworks display, providing a dazzling experience for all.

These events not only bring joy to families but also strengthen community bonds. So gather your loved ones and furry friends, and make the most of this festive season!
