Volkswagen Unveils New SUV Model 'TERA', Introducing a Unique Segment

Volkswagen has officially named its upcoming SUV 'TERA', marking the introduction of a new segment for the brand. This model draws inspiration from the successful Gol, which has been discontinued.

The TERA will be a fully innovative, modern, and connected vehicle, developed to enhance Volkswagen's SUV lineup. It follows the tradition of naming SUVs with the letter 'T', consistent with the brand's global strategy.

Produced in Brazil at the Taubaté plant, the TERA is set to launch as part of Volkswagen's plan to introduce 16 new products by 2028. It was first showcased at the Rock in Rio festival, featuring a unique design and advanced technology.

Volkswagen aims for the TERA to strengthen its SUV family, which includes models like the T-Cross, Nivus, Taos, and Tiguan.
