YouTube has launched a new generative AI feature called Dream Screen for users in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
This tool allows creators to generate custom backgrounds for their Shorts videos using the AI model Veo from Google DeepMind.
To use Dream Screen, users activate the Shorts camera, select the green screen icon, and input a text request for their desired background. The AI then generates the requested scene.
The feature is expected to roll out to additional countries soon.
