Google Enhances Gemini AI with Voice Support; Apple Launches AI-Driven Final Cut Pro 11

Google is enhancing its Gemini AI chatbot by adding voice support for uploaded files, allowing users to engage in voice chats about documents and spreadsheets. This feature, referred to as Gemini Live, is currently available only to Gemini Advanced subscribers on Android devices, with plans for broader access in the future.

Reports indicate that the new voice capabilities were discovered in a beta version of the Google app, highlighting terms like 'Open Live' and 'Talk about attachment.' This upgrade aims to improve user interaction with complex documents.

Meanwhile, Apple has released Final Cut Pro 11, its latest professional video editing software, which incorporates new AI-driven features and supports spatial video editing for the Apple Vision Pro. The update builds on existing AI tools and allows editing of spatial videos captured with various devices, including the iPhone 15 Pro and Canon EOS R7.

Final Cut Pro 11 is available for $300 on the Mac App Store and optimizes performance for high-resolution video projects using Apple’s M-series chips.
