In a remarkable display of talent, Ghaffari clinched the gold medal in the Boulder category at the 2024 Youth Asian Championship. This prestigious event, part of Asia's largest sport climbing competition, is currently taking place at the TSAF Sport Climbing Academy within the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, India, from November 14 to 17.
Competing against some of the best young climbers in the continent, Ghaffari's outstanding performance has put Iran on the map in the sport of climbing. The competition featured climbers from several countries, with Japan securing the second and third positions in this category.
Additionally, Sara Zarezadeh, another talented member of the Iranian national team, showcased her skills by finishing in fifth place in the final. Iran has sent a total of 11 athletes to this championship, reflecting the country's commitment to developing its climbing talents.
