Matthew McConaughey Channels Mike Ditka in Hilarious Super Bowl Ad

Matthew McConaughey has taken on the persona of legendary Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka in a new commercial for Uber Eats, set to air during Super Bowl LIX. In a 30-second preview, McConaughey dons Ditka's iconic navy, white, and burnt-orange sweater, complete with a bushy fake mustache.

In the ad, he approaches a mirror and confidently declares, "Da Bears," before critiquing his own delivery. After several humorous attempts to perfect the phrase, he finally succeeds, sliding on a pair of aviators and strutting out with confidence.

The phrase "Da Bears" became a cultural phenomenon in the early 1990s, popularized by a recurring Saturday Night Live sketch featuring comedians like Chris Farley and Mike Myers. While McConaughey is parodying Ditka in the ad, he recently shared his real-life allegiance to the Washington Commanders, a team he has supported since 1974.

In addition to his NFL fandom, McConaughey is also a dedicated supporter of the Texas Longhorns football team, having studied at the University of Texas at Austin.
