Images have surfaced of BMW's upcoming electric sedan from the Neue Klasse lineup, spotted during road tests in Germany. The vehicle, codenamed NA0, was seen in protective camouflage, revealing some design elements.
Unlike the angular concept showcased in 2023, the pre-production model features a more traditional headlight design, with lights integrated into the front grille instead of the previous bold styling.
The rear lighting remains largely concealed, but the prototype appears to have a two-tier light configuration, differing from the narrow L-shaped lights of the concept.
While technical specifications are largely undisclosed, the Neue Klasse series is expected to utilize an 800-volt architecture with electric motors ranging from 300 to 1000 horsepower and a potential range of up to 800 kilometers.
The first model in the Neue Klasse lineup will be the electric crossover iX3, set to enter production next year. The i3 sedan is rumored to debut in 2026, with a total of six models planned on the new platform.
