Porsche Launches All-Electric Macan in the Philippines

JAKARTA - PGA Cars, the official distributor of Porsche in the Philippines, has launched the all-electric Porsche Macan, available in Standard and Turbo variants.

CEO of Porsche Philippines, Roberto Coyiuto, stated that the introduction of the new electric Macan doubles the company's lineup of pure electric products, enhancing their offerings with a complete range of powertrains, including BEV, hybrid, and internal combustion engines.

The Porsche Macan EV features a sporty design similar to its predecessor, with distinct front DRL lights separate from the main headlights and a 'Macan 4' emblem at the rear.

Inside, the cabin boasts premium black materials contrasted with bordeaux red leather, three screens, and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhanced by Bose speakers.

The Standard variant is powered by two electric motors generating 408 hp and 650 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and a maximum range of 613 km. The Turbo variant delivers 639 hp and 1,130 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds with a maximum range of 591 km.

Pricing details remain unspecified, but similar models in Indonesia are priced at Rp2.49 billion, excluding personalization options.
