EFTA Ministers Meet in Norway, Sign Trade Deal with Malaysia

In Tromsø, Norway, on June 23, 2025, the EFTA Ministerial Meeting convened, chaired by Norwegian Trade Minister Cecilie Myrseth. The meeting addressed critical issues in global trade and focused on expanding EFTA's free trade network.

Key discussions included the signing of a comprehensive economic partnership agreement with Malaysia, covering trade in goods, services, and investments. Ministers also reviewed ongoing negotiations with MERCOSUR and Vietnam, aiming to advance these talks.
