The Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary (ABWLS) is becoming a thriving eco-tourism hub and biodiversity haven.
Delhi's environment minister, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, announced the transformation of the protected area along Delhi's southern Ridge.
Access to the sanctuary is regulated and permitted via eco-friendly electric golf carts.
The area is fenced and equipped with camera systems for wildlife monitoring.
Water holes have been developed and replenished to support the resident wildlife population.
The ABWLS supports species including squirrels, deer, nilgai, monkeys, langurs and even leopards.
The increasing wildlife presence is attributed to government conservation efforts.
