Australian Agrifood Showcase at Aahar 2025 in New Delhi on March 5th

The Australian Trade and Investment Commission, in collaboration with Queensland and New South Wales, is presenting 11 Australian brands at Aahar 2025 in New Delhi on March 5th. This event highlights the increasing demand for Australian agrifood products in India, boosted by the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (AI-ECTA). Aahar 2025 provides a platform for Australian companies to display their quality, innovation, and sustainability. The Australian Pavilion will feature a diverse range of products, including packaged food, nutritional supplements, gourmet ingredients, meats, and seafood. Since the implementation of AI-ECTA, Australian agrifood exports to India have grown by 59%, with increasing demand for almonds, lambs, and seafood. John Southwell, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, emphasizes the opportunity for Australian businesses to access India's growing market and build partnerships with Indian importers and retailers.
