President Donald Trump will host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House next week.

This meeting follows the joint U.S.-Israeli "Operation Rising Lion" against Iran, which targeted Iranian nuclear facilities including Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.

During his visit, Netanyahu will meet with Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State and Acting National Security Advisor Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

On June 25, 2025, Trump demanded a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, using strong language in his statements.

On June 27, 2025, Trump suspended planned sanctions relief for Iran after a speech by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who downplayed the effectiveness of recent U.S.-Israeli airstrikes.

President Donald Trump stated that he intends to firmly insist that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cease military operations in the Gaza Strip.
