Trump Team Criticizes Zelensky; Aid Blocked in Gaza; Europe Discusses Security

Following a tense exchange between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump's National Security Advisor, Michael Waltz, compared Zelensky to "an ex-girlfriend" and suggested he should step down if he doesn't sign a rare earth minerals agreement with the US or end the war with Russia. Waltz criticized Zelensky's behavior during a White House meeting. European leaders, Canada, and others voiced support for Zelensky and called for a "just and lasting" peace with Russia. Eighteen leaders met in London to discuss European security guarantees. Separately, Israel halted humanitarian aid to Gaza after the ceasefire ended, citing Hamas's refusal to negotiate further hostage releases. Prime Minister Netanyahu stated aid was sufficient for five months and accused Hamas of risking civilian lives. Hamas accused Israel of starvation tactics. The UN and MSF condemned the aid blockage, demanding immediate resumption of aid. Netanyahu stated Israel is coordinating with Trump on ceasefire continuation.
