Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares is urging all European countries to support Spain's resolution to the United Nations General Assembly regarding Gaza. The resolution aims to provide support to Gaza and oppose Israel's blockade of aid to the region.
Albares made this call in Warsaw following a meeting with his European counterparts. He stressed that the European Union's stance on Gaza will be judged by the world.
Albares emphasized the need for Europe to act in order to break the blockade of food aid to Gaza, prevent the displacement of the population, support Ukraine in achieving a just peace, and defend the UN and development cooperation.
