During a recent visit to Kyiv, the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy finalized three agreements in the defense sector. These agreements focus on joint production and investment in Ukraine's defense industry. Zelenskyy noted that representatives from ten Belgian defense companies accompanied De Croo, highlighting the potential for enhanced security across Europe through Ukrainian defense capabilities. Discussions also covered joint manufacturing and investments within Ukraine. Belgium has consistently supported Ukraine since the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia, providing military, political, and humanitarian aid, including assistance to Ukrainian refugees in Belgium. Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of justice in their mutual relations, distinguishing between the justice of defending their nation and the injustice of Russian aggression. He expressed gratitude to the Belgian people for their support.
