Senior officials from Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Syria, and Palestine are convening in Cairo to address developments related to the Palestinian territories. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the head of the Council of Ministers, hosted a meeting with Borut Pahor, the former President of Slovenia, to discuss Egyptian-Slovenian relations and Egypt's role in fostering collaboration between the two nations across various fields. King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain is scheduled to visit Egypt to participate in the Arab League Summit, where discussions will focus on the Palestinian cause. Similarly, the Foreign Minister of Syria, Asaad Al-Shibani, will attend a preparatory ministerial meeting in Cairo, ahead of the Arab League Summit, also centered on the "Palestine Summit." Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian President, is also expected to arrive in Cairo to take part in the summit. These meetings aim to address critical issues such as the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the reconstruction of Gaza, and efforts to prevent further escalation. The discussions also seek to unify Arab positions on rejecting displacement and supporting the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
