The Kyndryl Foundation has awarded grants to 12 nonprofit organizations across 11 countries to support cybersecurity and AI skills development. This initiative aims to impact over 55,000 individuals in the next two years through programs focused on skills enhancement, awareness, and job placement. The Kyndryl Foundation is expanding its support to nonprofits in Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Spain, and the United Kingdom, in addition to the Czech Republic, Hungary, India, Japan, Poland, and the United States. Select multi-year grants, lasting up to two years, have also been introduced to foster deeper engagement with grantees and promote sustainable impact. The Data Security Council of India (DSCI) is among the first multi-year grantees. DSCI will utilize the funding to train 100 women under the Cyber Vaahini program and establish a cybersecurity training center in Mumbai.
