Arab Leaders Convene in Cairo for Emergency Summit on Palestinian Issue and Gaza Reconstruction

Arab leaders convened in Cairo on Tuesday for an emergency summit to address developments related to the Palestinian issue. The summit's agenda includes plans for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and a rejection of the displacement of its residents. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, chairing the summit, stated that the region faces serious challenges to security and stability. He urged the adoption of a plan to preserve the Palestinian people's right to rebuild their homeland and remain on their land. El-Sisi also mentioned efforts to train Palestinian security personnel for the next phase in Gaza and called for participation in the Gaza Reconstruction Conference, scheduled for April in Egypt.
