The sixth European Political Community (EPC) Summit is convening in Tirana, Albania on May 16, 2025, bringing together 47 heads of state and government. European Council President António Costa has stated that Albania could potentially join the EU before 2030 if it maintains its current progress. Albania has opened multiple chapters in its EU accession talks and aims to complete negotiations by 2027.
