French President Emmanuel Macron is considering a United Nations peacekeeping mission in Ukraine as a potential plan. Macron discussed the plan with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the European Council Summit. The proposal envisions deploying up to 30,000 soldiers to monitor a ceasefire, protect critical infrastructure, and enforce airspace and maritime restrictions. The UK has also engaged in talks for the Royal Air Force to police Ukrainian skies in case of a ceasefire.
