Arab states are formulating a diplomatic strategy to oppose President Trump's plan for Gaza. Meeting in Riyadh on February 21, Gulf Arab countries, Egypt, and Jordan discussed an Egyptian proposal to counter Trump's plan to resettle Palestinians in Jordan and Egypt. The proposal may include up to $20 billion in funding over three years, pledged by Gulf and Arab states, for Gaza's reconstruction. The Arab League is scheduled to hold an emergency meeting on March 4 in Cairo to reach a consensus on a unified alternative to Trump's plan.
