Us job growth remains strong despite trade policy uncertainty

The United States saw robust job growth in April, with nonfarm payrolls increasing by 177,000.

Data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday also showed the unemployment rate holding steady at 4.2%.

These figures suggest that uncertainty surrounding President Trump's trade policies has not yet significantly impacted hiring plans.
