Eu Prepares 'Plan B' for Russia Sanctions Amid Us Uncertainty

Edited by: Татьяна Гуринович

The European Union is developing a 'Plan B' to maintain economic sanctions against Russia. This action is considered if the Trump administration abandons Ukraine peace talks.

Kaja Kallas, EU's high representative for foreign and security policy, informed the Financial Times of these preparations on Wednesday, April 30th.

Ongoing discussions with Washington and international partners aim to ensure the Western sanctions regime remains in place.
