Us sanctions Iranian and Chinese companies over missile program

Edited by: Татьяна Гуринович

The United States has imposed sanctions on six companies located in Iran and China.

These sanctions are due to the companies' alleged involvement in procuring materials for Iran's ballistic missile program.

The U.S. Treasury Department stated that Saman Tejarat Barman, an Iranian trading company, collaborated with five Chinese suppliers to obtain chemicals for missile propellants for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Six individuals working for the Iranian firm are also targeted by the sanctions.
