Daniel Noboa has been re-elected as President of Ecuador. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a $20 billion credit for Argentina. Tariffs imposed by the U.S. under Donald Trump on China have increased up to 104% in response to actions from Beijing. Olaf Scholz condemned a Russian attack against the Ukrainian city of Sumi.
