Ukraine to Discuss Minerals Deal Framework with U.S. in Washington

A Ukrainian government team will travel to Washington soon to discuss a new framework for a minerals deal with the United States, according to Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on Friday. The discussions will focus on a revised proposal from the Trump administration, which Ukraine received last week. Online consultations between Ukrainian and American teams were scheduled for Friday. Sybiha emphasized that the deal should benefit both countries and align with Ukraine's aspirations to join the European Union.
