Trump Announces 25% Tariff on Imported Cars; Kharkiv Region Under Drone Attack

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday, March 26, that the United States will impose a 25% tariff on all cars not manufactured within the country. He clarified that cars built in the U.S. would be exempt from this tariff. On the same day, Russian forces attacked the Kharkiv region with drones. According to Oleh Synegubov, head of the regional military administration, over ten drones targeted Kharkiv and the settlement of Zolochev. At least eight individuals were affected in Kharkiv, with damage reported to civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, and vehicles. Zolochev saw seven people injured, with three sustaining injuries from explosions and four experiencing acute stress reactions. President Zelenskyy has urged increased pressure on Russia and emphasized the importance of diplomacy.
